In cooperation with the civil society organisation “Marita Western Balkans”, based in Novi Sad, lectures on the prevention of drug addiction were held on 8 and 12 October at the Cultural Centres of the Municipalities of Smederevo and Stara Pazova, respectively.

The lectures are intended for primary and secondary school students across Serbia. During these sessions, lecturers from Marita Western Balkans engage with students in an emotional, honest and educational manner, addressing the causes and consequences of drug addiction, as well as effective methods of prevention.

The lecturers’ personal testimonies, based on their first-hand experience with drug abuse, lend greater authenticity to the presentations and convey a more powerful message about the devastating impact of drug abuse on individuals and their families.
