The Office for Combating Drugs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia continues to strengthen its cooperation with civil society organizations, recognizing their important role in developing a coordinated response to drug-related challenges.
To this end, the Office has signed Memorandums of Cooperation with:
· “SAJBER SRBIJA” Association
· National Section of the International Police Association – IPA Serbia
The new partnerships provide opportunities for the exchange of professional knowledge and experience, the development of joint initiatives, and the pooling of capacities in areas relevant to the prevention of drug and other psychoactive substance misuse, public information and awareness-raising, as well as the enhancement of support for persons affected by addiction.
Cooperation with organizations of diverse profiles contributes to a broader understanding of drug-related challenges from different perspectives and creates opportunities for the development of activities that respond to contemporary needs and changes in society. Particular importance is placed on linking institutional capacities with the knowledge and experience of the civil society sector, as well as on the timely identification of emerging trends and risks in this field.
The Office for Combating Drugs will continue to develop partnerships with relevant organizations and institutions, with the aim of further strengthening cooperation, connecting available resources, and contributing to a comprehensive and sustainable societal response to drug-related challenges
