At the beginning of April 2022, the Office for Combating Drugs decided to introduce quality management through the Common Assessment Framework (CAF), with the support of the Ministry of State Administration and Local Self-Government (MDULS) and the European Union (EU) reform project public administration within the Sectoral Reform Agreement – EU4PAR, through the support project team. The introduction of quality management is carried out on the basis of the “Agreement on the Implementation of the CAF Model of Quality Management” signed on April 14, 2022 by Marija Obradović, Minister of State Administration and Local Self-Government and Director of the Office for Combating Drugs, Mr. Milan Pekić.
Тhe Office for Combating Drugs is a state body that in the shortest period of time (three months), before the planned deadline, created the Action Plan and immediately after the adoption of the Improvement Plan for the implementation of Quality Management through the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) model. On December 16, 2022, it started to implement the activities foreseen in the Improvement Plan.
Striving for a culture of excellence and following the modern trends of the European Union in public administration, we want to improve the operations of the Office and bring it closer to EU standards. For this reason, this plan defines the activities that the Office will implement in the coming period with the aim of raising the quality of work and providing services.
