At the Faculty of Law of the University of Kragujevac, the Director of the Office for Combating Drugs, Mr. Milan Pekić, delivered a lecture on February 5, 2026, as part of a panel discussion entitled “Drugs, Alcohol and the Lives of Young People Today – A Vanishing Boundary.”

The panel was organized through the cooperation of the Director of the Office for Combating Drugs and the student organization ELSA Kragujevac, with the aim of opening a dialogue on the problems and challenges that young people face in contemporary society.

During his presentation, Director Pekić spoke about the harmful consequences of drug and alcohol use, as well as the social pressures to which young people are exposed. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of prevention, timely and accurate information, and the role of institutions in protecting young people.

The event was attended by professors and students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Kragujevac, as well as students of the Kragujevac School of Economics, who had the opportunity to actively participate in the discussion, ask questions, and receive useful information important for preserving their health and safety.
