A representative of the Office for Combating Drugs, Ms. Mia Matić, participated on the 12th and 13th of November in a two-day training titled “Training for Young Delegates – COSP11”, organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
The aim of the programme is to empower young delegates by enhancing their knowledge and understanding of the procedures and processes of the Conference of the States Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption (COSP), thus supporting their effective preparation, active engagement, and meaningful participation.
Throughout the training, Ms. Matić took part in interactive sessions and distinguished herself in the Mock Negotiation workshop, where, through active participation, she gained practical skills and knowledge in the fields of diplomacy, negotiation, and international cooperation.
The participation of the Office’s representative in this programme contributes to strengthening national capacities in the area of international anti-corruption processes and encourages the involvement of young professionals in the work of United Nations bodies.
