At the formal ceremony held on May 30, 2025, in Belgrade, the Office for Combating Drugs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia was honored with the prestigious CAF Effective User label, recognizing its excellence in applying the European framework for quality management in public administration.
The event was organized by the Regional Quality Management Centre (RQMC) at the Regional School of Public Administration – ReSPA. The CAF label was presented to the Office Director, Mr. Milan Pekić, by the Director of ReSPA, Ms. Maja Hanđiska Trendafilova.
This distinction acknowledges the Office’s:

  • Continuous commitment to quality improvement,
  • Successful implementation of excellence principles in management,
  • Effective completion of the CAF external evaluation (PEF procedure).



    • In addition to the Office for Combating Drugs, this year’s CAF label recipients include:

  • The Accreditation Body of Serbia,
  • The Demining Centre of the Republic of Serbia.



    • Receiving the CAF label serves as further motivation for the Office to continue developing and enhancing public services in line with European standards. The Office is also part of the official EUPAN database of organizations recognized by the European CAF Resource Centre at EIPA.
