On Wednesday, February 10, the Office for Combating Drugs launched a program of visits to organizations with whom it has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation by visiting the Center “Reto – ima nade”. The purpose of this visit is to intensify cooperation, as well as implementation of activities implied by the Memorandum.
The Director of the Office for Combating Drugs, Milan Pekić, emphasized to the representatives of the Center that this is the first official visit of the Office to civil society organizations and that this is the beginning of new type of cooperation. “The office will continue to contribute to civil society organizations with which we have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation,” the director pointed out.

Members of the Office for Combating Drugs visited the building complex of the Center “Reto – ima nade”. The complex is located in Belgrade and consists of residential buildings, workshops, studios, as well as shops where community members work and exhibit their products and services.
The aim of the Center “Reto – ima nade” is the rehabilitation and resocialization of persons who have an addiction problem with psychoactive substances and alcohol, as well as alternative sanctions, intended for persons who are on probation for up to one year. The center has more than 50 men and 20 women.
In order to support and help civil society organizations with whom the Office has signed Memorandum of Cooperation, the Office for Combating Drugs will provide a donation in the form of food and other products, in cooperation with CSR companies from Serbia.
