On April 27, 2022, representatives of the Office for Combating Drugs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, as well as the representatives of the Humanitarian Organization “Reto-ima nade nade”, have visited City of Zrenjanin and the Mayor of Zrenjanin, Mr. Simo Salapura. The main topics on the meeting was to inform the officials of the City of Zrenjanin with the current activities of the Office, discuss the situation in the field of drug policy in the City of Zrenjanin, as well as HO “Reto-ima nade nade” which enables rehabilitation and resocialization of former users of psychoactive substances.

Mr. Salapura pointed out the planned activities when it comes to the fight against drugs in Zrenjanin, and also expressed good will of the City Administration of Zrenjanin when it comes to cooperation with the Office and civil society organizations, and that in the future we can expect more activities of HO ” Reto- ima nade “ in Zrenjanin. In this regard, an interactive discussion was held on the same day in the City Library, organized by HO “Reto-ima nade nade”.

Speaking about the visit to the Mayor of Zrenjanin, the Director of the Office for Combating Drugs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Milan Pekić, pointed out that the mayor Mr. Simo Salapura expressed understanding and interest in the proposals and activities of the Office for Combating Drugs.
