On January 25, 2024, the final meeting of the regional project ” Youth For Youth ” took place at the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade. The project was implemented by the NGO “Regeneration” from Belgrade, together with project partners, the association “Terra” from Croatia, and the organization “HOPS” from North Macedonia, with the support of the Office for Combating Drugs and the Drug Policy Network in Southeast Europe. The meeting showcased the most significant project results, and a Handbook for Participation in Public Policies for organizations working with youth engaged in nightlife and marginalized young people was presented.

The project aimed to enhance the capacities and competencies of regional youth organizations working with young people involved in nightlife and/or using drugs, specifically targeting youth at risk and marginalized or vulnerable groups in youth policies. The research conducted within the project aimed to assess the needs and practices of regional organizations working with youth involved in nightlife and/or using psychoactive substances. It also aimed to assess the needs and challenges of at-risk youth, including their behavioral patterns, experiences, and the risks they face.

The Handbook presented during this event is intended for organizations wishing to participate in youth and other public policies, as well as those working with youth involved in nightlife and potentially using psychoactive substances.
