On March 25, representatives of the student organization The Social Relations Club of the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade visited the Office for Combating Drugs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and on that occasion got acquainted with the work, organization and activities of the Office, as a body of state administration. In addition, they were presented with the latest trends in the field of drug policies, both in the country and at the international level, as well as preventive methods of action, especially among the target population.

The Social Relations Club is the official student organization of the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade and has been one of the strongest and most numerous organizations at the Faculty of Law for years. The target areas of activity of the organization in question are: improvement of student standards, active involvement of young people in social processes in the area of cultural and educational promotion, development of environmental awareness, implementation of humanitarian activities with implementation of projects in the area of social protection (employment, education, housing), promotion of student activities in various spheres of social life, organizing visits to state institutions to acquaint students with their work, applying for projects in state bodies and public associations, etc.

The students actively participated in the meeting by asking numerous questions, which were thoroughly answered by the Director of the Office, Mr. Milan Pekić. They also expressed interest in the field of drug policy and the possibility of doing professional practice at the Office Combating Drugs. The Office for Combating Drugs had good cooperation with educational institutions in the previous period, and the same will continue in the future.
